I'm donating 10% of my haul today to the NYC fireman/police widows and orphans. Seems the decent thing to do. I will say this about the NYSE...the market DID run amazingly well under the circumstances. I had no difficulty getting trades through. No matter what else has happened (and obviously I'm a vocal critic of the market rejiggering that has been blessed by Grasso and the SEC), that IS a major victory of sorts. Hats off to them and to Verizon and whoever else had the job of rebuilding their telco infrastructure.
