that is the real problem with a commodity index versus just buying gold--the logistics! it is the perfect thing for an index fund, though few seem to exist. i predict that situation will change! i predict by the end of the decade, when commodities have left the Naz 100 schlock stocks in the dust, a bunch of today's Gorilla fans will be reading a new manual called the Commodity Game and getting in that market at the top. however, i expect a few fat years in the meantime!

i believe Jim Rogers is putting together a commodity index fund and i look forward to hearing about that. also, the following may be worth looking into, although it is not exactly what i am looking for as it is a futures fund.
