Hi H-Man; I guess what I was getting at is that, human nature being what it is, it would be easier to convince other nations to not support terrorists if we, similarly didn't support covert destabilization.

That the act in New York was one of cowardice is true because there was no indication of who was responsible. Japan painted red dots on their airplanes. Similarly, anytime US foreign policy requires violence, I think we should be represented with a presence in uniform.

The cold war is over, so I don't see any reason to continue with "plausible deniability".
