OT - J. Fleckenstein -do we still do OT? - or is anything fair game? Just wanted to mention how much I've appreciated your brother's work and the fact that he has continued to call it as he sees it... which has indeed been right on - does "right on" date me? <ggg> We heard the blather - institutions were stepping up to buy and, of course, recommending that every patriotic American do the same. What a crock. SOMEBODY was selling. And according to the volume on the NYSE, 2.36 B shares. I don't think that was Mom and Pop. Well, you can always trust the institutions... to tell you the exact opposite of what they plan on doing. The primary trend remains intact. Until the Plunge Protection Team steps in, which may start as soon as tomorrow, there is no light at the end of the tunnel, and even the PPT may only account for a couple of days of relief, at which point we can be pretty certain the boys will sell into it. And thank your brother for me for warning us and pointing the finger (index) at those who would like to eat our lunch... and breakfast and dinner. Best, FLACK
