SEPTEMBER 17, 16:15 EDT EU Leaders to Hold Emergency Summit By RAF CASERT Associated Press Writer EU council in Brussels addresses the media AP/Yves Logghe [16K] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BRUSSELS, Belgium (AP) — The European Union leaders will meet in an emergency summit Friday to discuss anti-terrorist measures and show solidarity with the United States after the attacks on its soil. Belgium, which holds the presidency of the 15-member European Union, proposed the meeting Monday, and the EU nations quickly rallied behind the idea. ``We have to make sure we get a total mobilization against terrorism,'' Belgian Foreign Minister Louis Michel said. He said the summit will ``see how we can send a united response.'' The idea of an EU summit was first raised by German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder after the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. EU foreign ministers held an emergency session three days after the terrorist strikes to show support for the United States. So far, Canada and the European allies in NATO have pledged to support military retaliation by the United States against terrorist sites. Michel also praised the U.S. restraint in the first days after the attacks. He said that he expects Washington to listen to the ideas of the Europeans. ``Our complete backing also means they will have to take our feelings and opinions into account,'' Michel said. He added the leaders at the summit could also look at the EU's Middle East policy and come up with new ideas to contain the Israeli-Palestinian fighting. ``We have to put more effort in trying to solve lingering problems which are a source of terrorism,'' he said. ``It might be a good moment to try to make a diplomatic move in the Middle East. Maybe we can use this moment to push through an initiative,'' he said.

Is it possible that today the market got support through external forces ? Tomorrow it could be real buying by PPT. PPT needs to figure out the damage, reaction and then execute their damage control tactics. I took a small position in EMC, since backup storage is now not an option and EMC is a leader in data mirroring. Thanks.

Ouch Zeev,out of your last 15 trades your under on 14.(from the info gathered on this thread).I wouldnt have guessed qlgc or qcom to get it that bad.Anyway,I hope(and think)you are making the daring right move,though it can really get sticky down here... I myself pigged out on the bus,probably get my head handed to me though...rizz
