Hmm, Iread Allans Alias post and I don't like it. Myabe the world hasn't changed for him, but the world DOES change when you realize you are vulnerable.

This is the first time Americans realized that. We may have lost many more in wars but that was by choice. Maybe human nature in the big scheme doesn't change, but yes the world can change. Maybe if his son sleeping so peacefully upstairs were killed by a terrorist bomb HIS world would change, even though many sons are killed in many places in the world every day.

I find him insulated & detached. And it is not 5,000 lives that are being avenged. It is the threat of life changed forever, because of a vulnerability we only last week understood.

Dumb post asfar as I'm concerned!
