and what filters through on CNBC

I had the TV on when this thing happened and I've had it on almost all the time since. I was channel surfing but spent most of my time on CNBC. I thought they did a very good job of covering it. That surprised me.

Oh, how scary to have a loved one in an airplane or even in an airport! No wonder you've been stressed. Like Karen, I was watching CNBC when the planes hit and the towers crumbled. The horror on Mark Haines' face, as he knew so many of the people in those buildings, was heartbreaking.

We've been taking breaks from the TV for a couple of hours a day, which has helped me a lot. Yesterday we took a friend of ours and her daughter out in our boat and bombed around for a couple of hours. Today I dragged Bill to the grocery store (in the name of stress relief, lol). You know you're in bad shape when you get home from the grocery store and say "Well, that was fun."

EDIT: Yikes, I didn't realize I posted this in the middle of a conflagration. We can continue by PM if you want.
