Robert,

When do we start seeing the "if you shoot-up, don't drive; and if you drive, don't shoot-up" commercials? When the annual death toll from drug-impaired drivers hits 50,000 per year?

I understand that you want to take the money out of the hands of the criminals, but you've forgotten the human side of the equation. The "don't-drink-and-drive" message hasn't done that much good, and the "don't-drug-and-drive" message won't either. And before anyone says that drugged drivers are already on the road (which I wouldn't disagree with), it'll be much, much, much worse if it's legalized.

Dave

Robert, great idea. America does such a wonderful job with the current batch of legalized drugs that we should just go ahead and legalize them all. I'm sure only those who use and abuse the drugs are the sole victims here.

Yep, legalize drugs! That's a sure-fire way to bankrupt Bin Laden and all those terrorist organizations out there! I wonder why everyone else can't see the obvious!

P.S. - You can have the last word. I just personally find it very ridiculous to suggest that legalizing drugs can somehow curtail terrorism.

Robert,

There a a lot of good arguments for legalizing at least some "recreational" drugs. I don't think you will find a sympathetic audience at this point in time.
