Hi Mark, I did not mean to imply that we should prop up the market for an extended length of time, but considering the massive pain NYC and America went through since last Tuesday, it would have been nice not to add any more pain to the mix by seeing the shorts take advantage of this situation.... I have been saying this market was overvalued for years, and have been on Fleckenstein's side of the argument much of the time, but the bears should take a bit of a vacation here in my opinion. There will be plenty of time for the bear market to continue later on if it is justified. I will not go short until things calm down, and if that causes me to lose money, so be it. The bears have been winning now for a long time and many of them have plenty of extra cash on their hands now. The should be helping out by using a portion of their gains to purchase some beaten down stocks. A bit of patriotism by market participants at this point in time would help our nation's psychology. Let's not be selfish or radically dogmatic about our overvaluation chants....
