Ever heard of public relations, Karen?

Gee, I think I may have heard that term used a few times in my life. If I'm not mistaken, it's a gesture made by one of those private sector organizations, companies I believe you call them, to make customers feel good. It's a lagniappe, not an entitlement.

I was questioning the woman's and the author's sense of entitlement, not whether or not the company chose to offer it.

When the customer owes you money, it's customary to expect him to pay. This too is an important business concept. The welsher babe sounds like a real "the dog ate my homework type."
