I think most would agree with you once they calm down. I do remain optimistic that if a clear goal is identified, assistance will be given.

It may be an audacious goal, though. I know personally people in the USA who support the IRA, but the IRA is, by definition, a terrorist group. Probably there are many all over the world who are opposed to terrorism as a concept but have a soft spot for their own "pet" group.

One of my favorite people to have coffee with wears a pin in the shape of a rifle and the words Sinn Fein, and he gives money to the IRA. He's a sweetie, but I don't think he considers the IRA a terrorist group.
