Monty: I don't know. Personally I'd rather just ignore the whole thing. We're just a few weeks into the new school year and this business of who is ignoring whom... well it reminds me of the playground.

But the feature probably has its uses. Kind of like SI's version of perilomatic sunglasses (Hitch Hiker's Guide). Which turn opaque at the merest hint of danger. Thus rendering the wearer oblivious of harm.

But me, I prefer to live in the real world. The stuff we get here on the threads, even the goofy stuff, is a sampling of what's going on in the minds of millions of investors.

Speaking of which, I noticed once again the magic number. This time it's 14 after a failed dive to 13. Mid-frequency charts look glued to those even dollar lines as a sustainable trend through six to eight weeks! If there are any scalpers out there not ignoring me, I think picking up at $0.25 under a magic number on the way up is good for close to a quarter.

Of course, just as mindmeld pointed out last time, merely noticing is good enough to jinx it.

John.
