FL, have you got anything back from your Pakistani friends?

My theory about the importance of Pakistan is not just that U.S. needs Pakistan's airspace and military base to operate in Afghan, but also how with the government itself will survive. If the anti-America sentiment is strong enough to bring down the government, or force it to change the position then things will be ugly. Not only that will put the troops in Pakistan in danger, but also those in Afghan and their supply line. And further more, a war against Pakistan will change the moral momentum that U.S. is carrying right now. esp. if that conflict starts with from civilians in Pakistan.

And I don't even want to imagine how China gonna react if U.S. and Pakistan going at each other, then India, Muslim world etc...

So the top priority is to make Pakistan feel comfortable as much as possible. Otherwise we gonna face a much messy world.
