Mary, <Hatred is really not acceptable. Hatred is not and will not be acceptable in advanced societies. Advanced societies will greet his type of hatred with a great sense of sadness if nothing else.>

Pardon me for butting in here, but if you look deep enough, Ali has a good point. The opportunity to fix the problem with a scalpel is long gone thanks to the terrorists. It's time to draw the broadsword of the military and deal with the problem swiftly (relative to the scalpel) and with force.

Anything less will just invite worse. And no amount of suffering by any people group is an excuse to resort to this kind of cold, calculated terrorism.

Sure, we must be ever vigilant to prevent hate from corrupting our motives. But I think you are too quick to label any sort of broad military response as "hateful."

Mary,

You are really putting yourself into great company. Read his messages. You be the judge. Demonstrate your reasoning ability.

I am not going to read thousands of messages I missed (from the time my daughter was born) until now to look for some pattern in Ali's messages that you may sense. I am referring to the one post that everyone seems to be talking about: Message 16366892

I don't see the racism that Fin sees. But then if you are a hammer ... (oops)

Maybe you can explain to me what is racist about that post.

Hatred is really not acceptable. Hatred is not and will not be acceptable in advanced societies. Advanced societies will greet his type of hatred with a great sense of sadness if nothing else.

Where is the hatred? Do you have any evidence he is wrong? If so, tell me, what percentage of Palestinians agree with those dancing in the streets. If the number is high, his conclusion is right. If the number is low, he is wrong.

If the number is low, and Ali is wrong, does it constitute hatred?
If Ali is right can he, out of the blue accuse you of hatred? A PC Storm Trooper would not hesitate for a second.

As I said in my other post, I don't know what the answer is. There are some sick people who celebrated. We have seen the pictures. There are more than those on the pictures that we have seen, because we know that the Palestinian Authority was very aggressive in suppressing the true information. Jornalist were threatened, tapes were confiscated. This looks very fishy to me. What do you think?

Joe
