That is precisely our difference. If I lived in Nazi Germany, and know what I know, I would not want that world view to prevail. I would have had a duty to fight against it.

That is not our difference, that is our commonality. I just don't pretend the other view is irrational. It's not, it's immoral.

I beleive that our core values are right. I am willing to sacriface to defend it. But, if our values were reversed with that of the terrorists, I could not and would not defend it.

Nor would I.

Truth is a concept that is hard to define. For the most part, intelligent people from any background will have more to agree with each other than with less intelligent people from the same background.

My years have shown me that most people define "intelligence" as "agreeing with me". Brilliant people can see the world completely differently than I do. That doesn't make me dumb or them intelligent. I've know some less than brilliant people who somehow knew right from wrong. I judge people by how they conduct their lives.
