Cat: "The impact of the attack is difficult to guess IMO". Hawaii is heavily into tourism and is a belleweather for that industry -- too soon to tell any for sure of course, but smart people around here are retooling their budgets with new assumptions for the coming year -- new assumptions like a 35% to 50% drop in tourist revenues. Lest you think that tourism is just a "hawaii thing", the US is the world's primo tourist destination -- and of course intra-country travel is enormous as well.
