I wouldn't worry about that. If you are worried about the money market fund any of your cash is in just call them up and tell them to move it to a money market fund that invests in treasury bills.

Had a similar concern but I use the on line arms of a couple of Canadian chartered banks. They said if you 'leave' the money in the actual account, linked to the trading account (not in MM funds) it is actually in a federally (Canadian) insured bank account safe to 60K per account.

Don't know if it works that way in the US though. Shoot! I just realized that they might not (probably aren't) insure my greenbacks though. Go to check although there are not many.
