well, let's put it that way, the Nostradamus stuff is open to a wide range of interpretations...it's useless for predicting actual events, rather the quatrains are fitted to the events afterwards, and then it is said, "see, he predicted this".

steve, yeah the one about "twin brothers will fall" that was actually read by network news anchor was pointed out on SI as being an example by an academic of how these prophesies are linked to current events.
