Tom, i conclude three things after watching O'Neil, Bush and Powell speak yesterday that Colin is the only true leader of the three, the USA is finished as a superpower and as long as the US backs Israel there will be terrible chit to pay.
CP was the only one who was able to communicate his thoughts in a clear and efficient manner.
O'Neil still believes in a strong dollar which we essentially know is doing to your economy. Japan number two on the way. "Productivity will save the US etc, etc........" Productivity does nothing for you if you are just plain uncompetitive in price specially when productivity is increasing at a slower pace than your competitors price is dropping.
George was a basket case when trying to describe what sort of war we're getting into. He did not mention the part about suicide bombers attending NFL, NBA and major league baseball games while taking out a couple of hundred people at a pop or should i say bang. They don't even have to be inside the park, all they have to do is be waiting in a heavy lineup.
The raw, raw on CNBC yesterday was the most utter pathetic display of confidence and patriotism that i have ever seen and if i were American, would hang my head in shame. The dollar is America's religion now, more than ever. It was an absolute joke to watch Maria interview a state pension fund manager explain how he was going to come in buying with both hands. Easy as hell to throw other peoples money around, is it not? When are Americans going to wake up? My guess, when it is far too late.
Blast away if need be.
