Speaking of Letterman I met Dick Assman yesterday. I zipped down an exit to avoid a speed trap and lo and behold Dick works at a gas station there. He loaded up two bags of softener salt for me and cleaned the windows. I was pleased to see a man not content to rest on his laurels and still give the world an honest day of work.
