In the name of fairness and "political correctness". One of these Rebels was none other than Osama Bin Laden...who the CIA helped train. Now he hates our guts and we find ourselves perhaps being in the same position as Russia was...(Russia has to be rotfl, btw...) Jimmy Carter pulls out of the 1980 Olympics denying our athletes the chance of a lifetime. All in the name of "political correctness". Didn't end up making the US a safer place... 2. The United States kicks Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait...all in the name of political correctness (yeah we know it was oil, too). Establishes a base in Saudi Arabia and patrols the Persian gulf. Yeah man, that one made it safer for us...I guess we forgot that some muslims hate the fact that we (a christian nation in their eyes) have landed a base in sacred Muslim territory. This further destabililizes the region because fundamentalist Muslims hold the Saudis responsible for allowing us there. Bin Lauden blows up a couple of US Embassies in Africa... We retaliate with a half a$$ bombing of empty tents in Afghanistan. Half hearted but "politically correct".. I guess we felt safe for a while... Somewhere in there we see a US service man dragged around in the streets of the Sudan. 3. Then there was the "politically correct" bombing of Serbia because of the "atrocities against the Muslim Kosovars". Now we come to to find out that those atrocities were greatly over exaggerated and that the KLA was being funded by Bin Laden not to mention the drug trade. So basically we we may well have been duped into fighting his battle for him. Did he laugh?...probably...Did this earn us any brownie points and make America a safer place? Nope... I won't even mention US involvement in the fertile cresent area. Except that the more you side with one side, the more the other side hates you...and those of the same religion of the other side... So as you can see, using just these few examples...our politically correct adventurism into Muslim affairs has not made the US a safer place...the exact opposite is true. Yes it is to bin Ladens and other Muslim adventurists to divide the mid-east and west. But further than that he is setting up bases in many foreign countries to further his agenda... Jim

Amy J, An honest, trustworthy, considerate PC person that is honestly motivated to get to the bottom of this, can more easily locate the responsible parties through intelligence gathering, than someone who walks around with a baseball bat and is racist (no implied reference to anyone). What happens if this fictitious PC person gets to the bottom and finds the truth that happens to be one of the long list of truths that the Political Correctness seeks to suppresses? I guess then, you go back to PC basics: Get the verbal baseball bats and smash heads of everyone trying to reveal the awful truth. Because, you know, the truth can be very uncomfortable, dangerous in wrong hands. Truth of this nature will be labeled "hateful" by the officers of th PC movement, and the herd of the Storm Troopers will be sent out to suppress it.
