the former CIA director has been on tv everyday telling us that the problem is someone cut the balls of the CIA in 1995...when they are returned, the agency will be effective again. satellites ain't enough. you mean Woolsey? smart guy and obviously very knowledgeable, but also very strong ideological leanings. doesn't mean he shouldn't be taken seriously, just that I wouldn't consider him the last word. Other former CIA directors have other thoughts (as the letters to the WSJ today show). anyway, there should be an article with some interesting thoughts on this ready to post in a few weeks... ctb/A
