Cooperation would be the best route to survival. The Tali face a threat from rebels in the north, any weakening of the tali, with added support to the rebels could mean they are finished. They are not stupid, they have to at least thought about this. I heard the same story on news this AM, maybe they are buying time. Thats OK, time we got.
