Zeev: What do you make of the divergence between the Sox and the Nasdaq today. Whole market is odd. INTC is up for some reason. Maybe a Dow pump? But chips are ugly overall. No chip leadership.

Zeev: You had forecasts for NAZ lows how much did WTC cloud the projections. It seems that if overall prospects for market have been turned down another notch that quality issues would be favored at the expense of the more speculative issues. Definitely we are seeing capitulation on some of these semi issues. I am waiting till tomorrow to make my decision to ratchet down short call positions on MU NVDA BRCD BDCM and QLGC if it looks like no quick resoluton to what ails us is coming. Short PUT ugly but no stocks assigned so far and strike prices not out of control. john PS BKX still in mortal danger territory at 773
