Speaking of term limits, he's a double-crosser too:

Meehan was the sole Democrat slated to step down this year. But he announced in May that he would seek another term.

Good points cyberken. I would also point out that Falwell is a private citizen that can be ignored quite easily. Meehan takes our tax money as pay and is supposed to represent us. As posted earlier, I think he really represents the daschlegephardt leadership. I think Marty was a test to see how Americans would react so daschlegephardt could decide what position to take.
