DOCSIS 2.0 it's called, I'll be darned, just as suggested by TERN some time ago. We might recall folks here saying TERN had virtually no chance of DOCSIS inclusion. Self-righteous naysayers indicated anyone believing in TERN had to be high and dreaming. Now it seems clear that TERN spokesmen reported/predicted accurately and honestly concerning their likely future with DOCSIS(Right down to the 2.0 label), even as naysayers and even liars, twisted words in an attempt to paint TERN executive spokesmen as almost certainly nothing more than lying worm deceivers offering crap technology painted pretty, while selling all their stock precisely at the self-created top of the market scam, in violation of the law(ho ho ho). It now seems clear that certain past panned TERN statements weren't deceptions nor innocent wishfull thinking- they were just honest representations from understandably excited and perhaps somewhat niave broken English spokesmen, who trusted in their own creative technical abilities and had truly worked closely with Cablelabs all along, IMHO. With these threads next to silent, perhaps it's just lack of interest that prevents certain individuals from appearing here to humbly eat crow concerning some specific statements made. Yeah, right! Well, I had a right to say something along these lines, I feel, and it is kind of nice to think of something other than the WTC/Pentagon bombings for a moment. I don't know how big this will be for TERN. But watch out as far as you can toward the highway horizon. What a topsy turvy world it is! If I'd suggested there would come a way to dramatically speed up cable modems, I'd swear SI technocrats would have told me to quit dreaming of the impossible, given the natural limitations of the medium. Now at this advanced date, TERN is in DOCSIS and actively touting having multiplied the upstream speed limit and available lanes at once, while one of SI's TERN naysaying technical wizards, Mark Laubach(formerly of CMTO and its thread here), is working with a newcomer outfit claiming a here-to-fore nigh impossible cable modem speed improvement(and other mediums at once) that will blow the doors off of anything else around at 10GBPS to the side of the home.fiberopticsonline.com {B1066642-9746-11D5-A775-00D0B7694F32}&Bucket=Current+Headlines&VNETCOOKIE=NO MAY THIS BE SO, as technology survives and...
