Don't throw the baby with the wash waters, God reflects the human race (or vice versa? "...in its own image...") it has both good and bad aspects.

OOps, I see I got a "grub".

I for one, do not believe there is a "god"....

I believe in a Creator. Always have, and due to a direct experience some ten years ago time, always will. But having said this let me also say I agree with your stand on religion. We should always remember never to confuse religion with the Creator. Religion is an artifact of Man, and hence very fallible. Indeed, history has proven religion to be very fertile soil from which Evil quickly springs. An interesting irony, no?

So I hope for the day when religion is put aside, as all children's toys eventually are when the time comes. The Universe is proof there are countless number of roads to the Infinite. More ways than any one religion can grasp and/or explain. I hope for the day we become sufficiently wise to understand that each road starts from the quiet center of the human heart, and that the sole responsible task charged to us while on these roads is to help each other along the way.

Regards!
