b, i concur, however, this issue is so emotional that pure logic and reasonableness probably won't win the minds of everyone. however, we need to follow your road map b/c it is the right thing to do. evil to the left doesn't justify evil to the right. every act will be weighed, all alone, on the scales of righteousness.
