I am fairly sure that it will not go down by more than $9.50

Reynoso, Re: <Anybody have an idea where the stock will bottom out? >

Someone may, but I don't. What I have is orders in for AMD @ $9.05. Not a lot, but some.

I'm now under water on my buy of AMD Monday morning but well up on the AMR. Overall, however, down now from Monday AM.

Reynoso, Re: Anybody have an idea where the stock will bottom out?

It broke through the long term rising channel this week (see athlon.purespace.de ), so all bets are off. OTOH, since the stock is already trading 20% below book value ($11) and below a price-to-sales ratio of 1.0, I don't think it can get much lower. IMO right now there are huge losses priced in (not only for this quarter but also for the following ones). It could be a good value play from here if you are betting on a economic recovery later this year.
