I wouldn't call it myopic. I would call it disgraceful. If the market would stop going down, we win? At a minimum, there are 5,000 dead people and their families who will be glad to know you think it's OK as long as your net worth stops going down Nothing in the post indicates anything disgraceful. The terrorist org. target was two-fold - innocent human lives and financial chaos. Otherwise why was there a joint effort by central bankers of the world to intervene on Monday morning ? To prevent further financial chaos. The terrorist org could have picked another site, but they did not. I thought that was easy to understand. As far as my net worth goes, I can post a million posts and it is not going to stop my net worth from going down, if it has to with the market.
