Here's a hint... violating the Bill of Rights is NEVER going to be good for America OR Americans.

As far as the Constitution...well, if the founding fathers could see how it's been analized, twisted and used for things they would be appauled at, they would likely flip over in their graves...

What are you referring to here? I'm talking about basic rights as detailed in the Bill of Rights...

Freedom of religion, speech, press (and yes, you can have a free press and restrict information flow... the press can't print what the press doesn't know!), assembly and petition.

Right to bear arms...

Protection against unreasonable search and seizure, and requisite search warrants....

Right to due process...

Right to a speedy trial by an impartial jury...

Protection against cruel and unusual punishment, excessive fines, and excessive bail...

And then that intangible one: "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people."

This Rights of Americans must never be abridged, else we cease to be America and become something else. By abridging these rights we would do more long-term damage to America than bin Laden could ever dream of doing... and in doing so grant him and his ilk total victory.
