Cont..... ********** Given the fact that Omar is Bin Laden's son-in-law, it's possible that some of his rivals are threatening to shove him out of the seat of power for the Taleban, and are showing signs of breaking ranks with one another. Although still trying to claim that they will only turn BL over to be tried in a 3rd country, this is a clear sign that they are willing to negotiate some of the finer points so long as they can save face. And this could create the conditions where the needed support from Muslims (except the fanatics) interested in avoiding full scale war breaking out in the region could be curried. It also opens up having the US going to the UN to make a formal plea on an international level, that would leave Afghanistan subject to sanctions and isolation in that body (not that I put much stake in the UN.. :0) This is the first crack that we're seeing... And we already know we have sufficient evidence to indict BL for his involvement in the US embassy bombing in Africa, without even proving his culpability in assisting in Tuesday's attack. Bin Laden is the first step... then we take down the others who knew about this, supported it, or attempte to profit by it (the short sellers). Hawkmoon
