I have no illusions, but our war technology is much better than early 1980's Russian vintage, so things are a bit different this time around. There is no way Russia should have lost 500,000 dead.... they were being stubborn, and made many stupid mistakes. (and I am sure we will make some too) We have to choose whether we want to live in relative freedom, or become slaves to the radical terrorist's whims.
