Okam's razor says Bobby Beara got it right. LT distribution top. All other explanations will have to consider the market returning to bubble state which IMO is quite impossible in our lifetimes (or until we be older then Greespan was in '97).

My thoughts on the long DOW top are that there is a wave 1 decline from the peak followed by a complex wave 2 that lasted for a while. We are now inthe wave 3 down which started at the 11,350 top. Within wave 3, we have cmpleted wave 1, wave 2, and are now in wave 3 of 3 which began at 10,440. Wave 3 of 3 of 3 began at 10,080 and is still in progress.
