The basic fact is that our land forces are more effective against the enemy's land forces than are air forces are against his land forces. I guess this sort of makes sense. But the above will give an idea of how the various forces are integrated.

War is vicious business, and I wish we didn't have to do this, but there is no reason to fret that we aren't good at it.
