Tom I hate to say this but we have a severe up turn going on in prices due to, wages, legal costs, communication costs and innovation costs that did not create additional business. I also feel the increased cost of imports will be next due to the transportation hazard we now face. We are apt to see inflation in every end of the economy due to need of increased security.

The result of act of terrorism will find our costs are going to be far greater than the bail out of the airlines. I fear we are in kind of situation where inflation is going to catch us on one end as the job market and consumer spending slow on the other. We can't lower costs by using elsewhere because we have an internal security problem.

Deflation in the sense that the consumer US won't have the dollars to spend is possible so reduction of prices is possible . The greater impact ot this is going to be in the cost of jobs and manufacturing growth in certain parts of Asia. The larger problem is that the political world of friends can become enemies when there is not adequate food on the table.

Guree, glad to see you'd be happy with $350 gold.

What you must do is get a big piece of blank paper. On it, draw a yellow, brick-shaped object which is meant to be a gold bar. Then, on the bar write "$350 per ounce".

Then you will be able to see gold at $350.

Fold the paper and take it to bed with you and you will have sweet dreams.
