Yes it's coming back to bite the US in the a$$ and unfortunately the stakes are much higher today than in 1945.

Force alone will never resolve this issue.

DAK, my father and uncles were in high school when WWII started - they all enlisted upon graduation. Many of these soldiers were boys fresh out of high school and VERY INNOCENT until the horrors of war changed their lives forever. Many enemy civilians were employed in war industries making the means to kill these very young and innocent men. The stakes were high and I'm glad we did all we could to destroy the enemy. Mike
