For a long time we have been told there was no inflation and many folks swallowed that lie, hook line and sinker! They didn't realize that the variables used in calculating the inflation index remain pretty steady regardless of whether the economy was chugging along fine or was sluggish.

Now with inflation coming back, I suppose it is very safe to say that gold is coming back, too.
