wonder what the airline "bailout" package will entail...
it would be best to just play the bad guy and only let the "good" efficient airlines survive this otherwise we are just follow the path of japan and subsidize the weak that should be weeded out in a truly capitalist society...
the "bad" airlines should be allowed to fail and the "good" ones can pick up their assets...or the bad ones should be merged into the good ones....
that way american taxpayers will not just throwing away money into airlines that seemed close to bankrupcy anyway...loan guarantees to only certain airlines will help the industry through this time of crisis but huge sums of cash should not just be given out indiscriminately to all

MSNBC headline that Boeing to announce 31k layoffs very soon....we're going to top 100k on the airline layoffs for sure (over 70k last count)....ouch...
