My friend had to take a firearms safety course and pay a fee to take his rifle. Horrors! A firearms safety course. Thank goodness we don't have to submit ourselves for that! Canada is a fine country. The glacier I'm looking at starts over there but fortunately melts before it gets to my house. That's an interesting point actually. Canada controls roughly 60% of the fresh water supply in the world. Some estimates suggest that the world's fresh water supply will run out substantially before the world's oil reserves. [Fortunately, we have people that like to disable those little flow restricters in faucets and remove those plastic bricks in commodes, so they get a better flush]. But the Canadian parliament plans on being the next OPEC [in fresh water]. Note: Canada refused to sell fresh water to New England during the drought of a couple of years ago. The Canadians want to save that water for more dire times. jttmab
