Tokyo Stocks Up 330 Points

TOKYO (AP) - Tokyo stocks rose sharply Wednesday morning after investors cheered the previous day's lower-than-expected fall on Wall Street. The dollar was weaker against the yen. The benchmark 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average rose 329.99 points to land at 10,009.87 at the end of morning trading. In New York, the Dow Jones industrials closed down 17.30 at 8,903.40 and the Nasdaq Composite Index fell 24.47 to finish at 1,555.08.
