Well The Futures Are Pumped This Morning

I guess Busch said things are not so bad only a few building were blown up.

Japan pumped up the dollar and what do you know the N225 closed up a bit.

O'Neil issued a statement that all in all the market stayed up more than in went down.

So I guess everything is cool.

I also saw a headline that "anlysts" felt we were within 10% of a bottom. That confuses me 30% up they were saying we were at the bottom. I guess the lower we go the further away the bottom is.

I'll bet there are a lot of people who who really miss the good old days where all it took was the CEO of a company whose salary was greater than the companies lifetime sales but who had a market cap greater than most countries to say that they might get an order, and then a couple of guys from a couple of the brokers would stay up all night, drink beer, and trade two futures contracts back and forth and the process get them about 30 points over fair value, and that's all it took to have a 5% day on the NAZ

I guess the futures traders last night didn't see that Dow component BA announced that they were laying off 30,000 folks, and the Dow component EK just warned for the 3 Qtr.
