Adonai-Yireh means "God sees", not provides...

This and Moriya seem to be spurious etymologies for Jerusalem which are also a large part of what this story is about.

So in your story should the Jews have asked God not to sacrifice Jesus? Anyway God making a sacrifice doesn't make any sense at all - God can't die and so he can't substitute a sacrifice for himself. As he can create anything giving up anything is no sacrifice of property either. And we are all the children of God.

Anyway, this seems to be getting way off topic.
