TC, Thanks for digging up those references. On my own, I've come up with zip about this.

I thought dual boots were always on separate partitions. In any case, the kind of problems described are ones I'd very much like to avoid. Without further input from someone who has used Partition Magic 4.0 with Win 2000, I'll pass on the idea of picking up an older version.
