You fool. When someone attacks our country, we're at war. Period. We don't have a choice in the matter. Jeez.

You want to keep posting with me, then stop with the name calling. If you don't like what I have to say, then click on ignore. More times then not you miss what I'm saying because frankly, you don't run very deep.

So its your choice, Ray, play nice and you get to exchange posts with me. Screw around and you're on your own. Comprendez?

Re <<When someone attacks our country, we're at war. Period. We don't have a choice in the matter.>>

Very true. Ted was discussing what type of war we should fight. There is nothing foolish about that.

Re <<It is obvious there will be every effort to avoid hurting innocent Afghan people. But their government is protecting a regime that just killed 5,000 people on our soil>>

I hope that is true, but it is not "obvious" to me. Taliban is probably the most inhumane and oppressive government on earth. No one will cry over their extermination. But we would be playing right into their hand if innocent people started to die in any number. Taliban, a battle tested group, will have a lot of “warriors” on their side if innocent people start to get killed in Afghanistan. Afghanistan and Pakistan have over 150 million people and are well armed.

I do very much agree with your opinion on Bush (sorry Ted). I have always been a big fan of Bush and I voted for him, but his handling of the overall situation has exceeded my expectation.
