AllansAlias made this excellent graph, back in March, of Fed rate cuts overlaid with DOW between 1929-1930's:

It clearly shows how Fed kept cutting then and stocks kept falling, just as now.

Also illustrates how NASDAQ crash from 2000 until now (about 70%) is worse than DOW crash from 1929 for the same amount of time (about 56% drop for its first 18 months) ... bigger bubble = bigger crash
