Rep. Barbara Lee of Oakland says she has received 20K phone and email responses. Without going into detail she seemed to indicate that the majority of calls have been supportive. Her vote was against giving the President carte blanche, believing that maintaining the separation of powers was inportant.

She now has 24 hr. police protection.

Glad to hear Davis and Di Fi walked out. Makes it even more unbelievable it wasn't reported in the news though.
