Hi Jim and a good morning to you,
We all get off topic quite a bit here. Oh well, as long as it remains civil and we don't lose sight of the main topic...
If we were always on topic we'd spent to much time with sycophantic preening and congratulation or telling maurice to sell :o)
('sycophantic' , I learned that word right here on this very thread and it's handy to have as an alternative to one of my long time favourites obsequious LOL)
Besides West reminds us every once in a while to get back on topic.

As far as ignore, I don't use it. I like to know what everyone is thinking, the smart and unwise my detractors and sympathisers. Otherwise you limit your perspective. (DAK, there is no implication here that you are not smart, simply a general statement of procedure :o).

regards

<. Second, and forever hereafter I exercise the privilege (thank you SI) of putting LLCF on ignore. He is a Luddite who "doesn't believe in drugs." That nonsense is something I just do not need to waste my time on, being a physician for 30 years now and having a firmly held opinion that such a statement is more a religious rant than anything else. >

Thank you for putting me on ignore... and I will do the same so the thread won't have to pass this message up with the 'foreward button'... but I have to respond.

1.) I did not say "never" on the use of drugs as the post clearly states. I believe drugs are WAY OVER used personally wouldn't take them till other alternatives are exausted.

2.) There is a very large alternative medicine contingent on this planet as most are well aware... talk to chiropracters and other alternative practicioners including many holding medical degrees and many will say basically the same thing.

I understand that being a physician for 30 years exempts you from the need to know this, but it DOESN'T mean one is a luddite, and it doesn't have anything to do with religion... as many long term posters are probably aware I don't consider myself "religious" in the conventional sense. To utter Jerry Fawell and Pat Robertson directly following.... well hopefully others find it as amusing as myself.
