Filo, Be kind. We have all learned to accept Brian even with his different perspective. He has come a long way on this and it should be appreciated, not attacked. He is not the enemy and represents some American values that some of us might sometimes forget. mike

I am sorry that we, your fellow Americans, have not been able to live up to your exalted moral state for all of these years... I am sorry if you view my critical stance of the American lifestyle as unpatriotic. Criticism should lead to improvement. If I did not care, I wouldn't criticize. Patriotism often leads to the problems we see in the world. Before I am American, I am human; more people should recognize this obvious fact. Regards, Brian
