I just got through reading a column by Hays who urges (you guessed it) BUY and HOLD....

JRI:

"Amen" to your comments. Over the last few years, I published heavy-handed, negative research aimed at trying to get folks to pay some heed to the deteriorating fundamentals, the semi-criminal accounting and above all else, the self-serving puke emanating from Wall Street. Most of it was to no avail, primarily because well orchestrated propaganda is far more seductive than is accurate but dull research.

Already, the damage wrought on the public by these scoundrels is excruciating and we have a lot further to go in the game. I suppose the only way to come to grips with it is to admit to oneself that "it was ever thus", and get back to the job of trying to look after the family as best as the circumstances allow.

It sure is a sick to see the financial rewards the rodents are hauling away to their holes at the expense of the unsuspecting public.

Best, Earlie

JRI, the bulls rely on history only when it supports their case. When the bears talk of record valuations the bulls said " it's different this time we're in a new era" . Mike
